1 KILLED, 1 WOUNDED IN KABUL BLAST

At least one person was killed, and another was wounded in a blast in Kabul on Saturday night, Kabul police confirmed.
The incident happened around 7:40 pm local time in Qala-e-Mir Abbas in PD9 of Kabul city as security forces searched a suspected house. During the search “a home-made mine exploded that killed one and injured another,” according to Kabul police.
“The police's preliminary investigations show that these people were busy making mines,” police said, adding that the victims are believed to be those making the explosive devices.
The police did not provide further details.
