COVID-19: BANGLADESH’S DEATHS CROSS 1,100, CASES TOP 84,000
Bangladesh has crossed the mark of 1,100 deaths as 44 more people have died of coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours.
With the latest figure, the number of total fatalities rose to 1,139.
Meanwhile, the country has surpassed the 84,000 marks in the confirmed cases of coronavirus with 2,856 people have tested positive in the past 24 hours.
With this development, the number of totals confirmed cases jumped to 84,379.
Additional Director General (Administration) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Prof Nasima Sultana, revealed the latest figures from Dhaka on Saturday afternoon, in a daily online bulletin on the Covid-19 situation.
