MODI TAKES 1ST DOSE OF BHARAT BIOTECH'S COVID-19 VACCINE

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi this morning.
Modi was administered Covaxin developed by Bharat Biotech and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) on the first day of second phase vaccination campaign, reports our New Delhi correspondent.
In a series of posts on his official Twitter handle, Modi said: "Took my first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at AIIMS."
He also urged people to get themselves vaccinated as India seeks to scale up the inoculation drive to reach the target of giving the jabs to some 30 crore people by July.
