PRESIDENT'S YOUNGER BROTHER DIES OF COVID-19
Abdul Hie, younger brother of President Abdul Hamid, has died from coronavirus infection early Friday.
He breathed his last at Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka at 1:30am, his nephew Badruzzaman Bhuiyan Kanchan confirmed it on a Facebook post.
After showing symptoms, Abdul Hie tested his sample and was detected with the virus on July 2. Later he was shifted to the isolation unit of CMH on July 5. He was taken to the intensive care unit of the hospital when his condition deteriorated.
Abdul Hie was former assistant professor at Abdul Haque Government College in Kishoreganj.
